Only 2 hours left for the Edward or Jacob Memory Melts + Warmer

I recorded this yesterday so keep in mind there are actually only 2 hours left!

aStore Collector's Twilight Saga- New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn aStore

So my hubby is laughing at the new facination over Twilight Series... How I am so in love with it but I haven't even read any of the books (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn) or have any Twilight memorabilia like a shirt or poster to show for it  - you know, stuff.... stuff like any other die hard Twilight fan would have.  So he looks at Amazon.com, his favorite store to see what is out there for me... and he showed me the screen below.  He was like, "Babe! You should get some Twilight stuff, and maybe you should do a blog giveaway too!"  I couldn't help but laugh!  Really?  My husband is the one saying this?  And when I calmed down... I was like.... "Why not?  I'll need an Alice because everyone loves her, a Jacob and of course an Edward.  I'll keep Edward for myself"  Soon after he wasn't laughing.... Edward isn't his best friend, exactly ;)

Which would you wear to the LA Red Carpet Premier of Twilight?

Is there even one?  These things exists, right?  Well whether or not there is one, which would you wear?

This is a dress I drew in pencil and paper and someone sewed it up for me in my size.  Perfect fit.  I hand selected the lace and the deep fuchsia in satin.  Combined with the black lace, the dress gives off a beautiful bloody-red effect.  Below is a close up of the combo:

Satin dress from White House Black Market.  Strapless and cuts right on the knees.  Very nice fit as it hugs the waist, accentuates the hips, and give a bit of fullness to to where fullness ought to be ;)

So tell me, which would you wear?

The Twilight Volvos + Edward Cullen

I know I will be showing my age with this post but here it goes.  When I was fresh out of high school, I was working at a real estate firm as a receptionist and a Realtor tells his client, "Just jump into my car and we can go from there."  She says, "Oh my son needs his car seat."  He replies, "No problem, my Volvo has a built in car seat."

A what?!  Yes, his Volvo SUV has a built in car seat.  No worries of that car seat flying off in an accident, is there?  I watch them ride off in this beautiful vehicle... and so much more beautiful to me as it was practical.  At 18, I told myself, I'm going to be a hot mom in a hot car.  So even a decade later, I still had in my mind set for the need for a Volvo, especially when I hit kid # 3.  I'd like to think I don;t look too shabby, but the hot car status isn't my friend at the moment.

Fast forward a couple of  years later and my eyeballs land on these movies and WHAT beautiful 4 wheel hunks of metal do I see?  And what is in it?  First answer, Volvo.  Second answer, Edward - just about the hottest of pale creatures ever.

So now it seems that I have a renewed sense of urgency for acquiring a Volvo.  And as a fellow Twi-fan said, "I want me a package deal!" alluding that she will buy one if it comes with Edward =)

For your viewing pleasure on this desired package deal:

And since we are on the topic of Edward and Volvo, check out this hilarious read on the subject matter. Of course it was written by a dude:  http://collegecars.wordpress.com/2009/11/14/volvo-says-twilights-edward-cullen-is-their-ideal-vehicle-owner-think-about-that-for-a-second/

I'm not at baby #3 so that's probably why hubby hasn't thought of getting me one yet - not ;)  Perhaps it has something to do the sticker price?  So imagine my elation when I found out they were giving a Volvo away! Yeah?!!  A FREE Volvo and with 4 doors for my babies! Check it out

and practically anyone of legal age and residency in the US of A can enter here starting Nov 1, 2011:

Sorry ladies, Edward Cullen not included ;)

Twilight Moms Forum

I applied for the Twilight Moms Group and forum at http://www.twilightmoms.com/ last week and finally got in yesterday.  It is very overwhelming at first for a newbie like me but as long as you follow instructions and go to where it says 'Newborns Here,' then there is a sense of direction or road man upon landing on the site.

It appears that everyone has been here forever with some people having 10,000+ posts under their names.  I have just posted one.... the first post requiring us to introduce ourselves.

I've read a handful of stories about other TwiMoms, about their love of Twilight, their story of why, and the crazy things they have done because of it or will do for it.

Amazingly, I find none of them "crazy," perhaps maybe because they are living something that I want to live too.  I find it interesting that people would stand outside in the cold of a movie house to see some actors on the screen that don't even know that they are there.  I swore I would never do that for anything as it is just plain stupid and a waste of time.  But would I do such a thing now, at age 30?

I suppose I could get lost in this Twilight Moms forum and eventually become an expert of everything Twilight as I have immersed myself in my other workings of Everything Home, but the world around me would not be happy.  Though I am now a "Twilight Mom," with 'Twilight' being first followed by the word 'Mom,' the reality is that I have to be 'Mom' first or I may just have to stop all things 'Twilight' cold turkey.  I really don't want to have to succumb to that ;)

If you are like me, and want to expand your world to other Twilight Moms outside of Facebook Group of Twilight Moms (see previous post), go and check out http://www.twilightmoms.com/.

Twilight Facebook Groups

The first place I searched to feed my Twilight addiction?  Facebook!  Facebook Groups, to be exact.  These are the groups that I have found engaging:

Yes I am a Twilight Mom but at this point, I don't have to share my books (which I don't even have yet) with my babies.

Breaking Dawn Corn Field Maze real or fake?

I have not verified it's truthfulness... I am just admiring the creativity and the thought whether it be real or not.  Admit it,do we really care if Edward or Jacob is real?  Just the thought of them is real enough, right?

Update many hours after I posted the pic above: http://www.rutledgecornmaze.com/  So this is real =)

Twilight Breaking Dawn: Movie Trailer

Can't wait! I'm so excited about the new Twilight movie! The funny thing is that all this is very new to me. My sister has been on it since the beginning. She said something about a vampire sparkling in the sun and the book being better. Nonetheless, I'm excited to see it!
